[Potential Analysis of Work Accidents at CV. Automotive Workshop using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis Method] Nowadays the global automotive industry, especially in developing countries has increased along with the increasing number of internet users and mobile penetration, the GDP rate increase of the developing countries and the growth of middle class-society, which makes the car sales in these countries increased anually. According to Carmudi, Semarang was the second-highest of the car listing (7.47%) in Indonesia, indicates the high activity of car transactions in Semarang. This background encourages the emergence of car showroom and its supporting workshop, such as CV. Automotive Workshop specializing in body repair. The demand number of entering car for repairs allow the emergence of accidents during maintenance work. 12 event of accidents was happen based on the data since 2014 until now. To prevent it, we need to find the causes and analyze the possibility of accidents. FMEA is one of method that can be used which calculate the severity, occurence, and detection factors and the results sorted from the highest RPN value so it can help CV. Automotive Workshop take an actions. This research showed that highest incidence with highest RPN score is contact with welding flame when switching on the welding tools with a high rate of flame, with 224 RPN score.
